A Gathering is a collage of figures sourced from photographs documenting American presidential campaign rallies across eras. Many moments of faith and pride, confidence and longing are compiled into a single but nonlinear timeline. I’m interested in how we are able to imagine and contextualize our recent history as well as our current moment of national insecurity.
